during the eid we slaughtered the sheep ourselves for the first time, but my aunt suspects that it was not done properly - that made me wonder, how does one know if a sheep was slaughtered properly and according to islam, and what if a sheep was not slaughtered properly even if one intended for it? does it make the sheep's meat haram to eat? do you throw it away? is it also not healthy to consume?
