Muslim men seriously need to do better

Of course this doesn’t apply to all men, there’s a bunch of good men out there. Idc how this sounds, as men we seriously need to be better and call out the bull that these little boys who have no fear of Allah SWT do. It really is our responsibility and you can’t be afraid of being called a white knight, Simp, and whatever else is out there. Of course know your place and have balance of certain things, but please don’t ignore it.

1. There’s so much toxic masculinity when it comes to men in general but since this is a Islamic sub I’m emphasizing Muslim men. The lack of emotional intelligence is astounding. There’s so much stoicism and deep anger that it’s actually terrifying to see. Making fun of other guys for showing emotion, punching damn walls when they are angry, letting it out on their kids and wives. Seriously shame on you. No one is saying you need to be perfect, but for the love of god get some damn therapy for your problems and no that doesnt make you any less of a man. It actually makes you a real man.

2. The amount of straight up misogyny is disgusting. The things these boys say about sisters is repulsive. Seriously no fear of Allah SWT. Twisting hadiths for your own misogynistic bias. Do you think Allah SWT is not seeing that? How dare you? This is not our religion and you put fear into poor women’s hearts because of your grossness. So much hatred smh.

3. Connecting to the second point, stop blaming women for your own dang problems. It is exhausting. All I see is blaming feminism and the west like please shut up. Be a man and take responsibility for your own damn actions. You will critique everything a women does instead of looking at yourselves. YOU lower your gaze, YOU fear Allah SWT. Just shifting blame to women is such a coward move especially when it comes to marriage lol. Like yeah you being a gross pig is a women’s fault 🙄

It’s just so exhausting. I am not close to being perfect. Not one bit. I did a lot of growing up and Alhumdililah for it even though I still want to be improving everyday. Please to the decent brothers out there, don’t be falling for these gross ideologies that these toxic boys follow.

Be real men. Improve on yourself. Protect the fellow sisters if the situation calls for it. Don’t be afraid to seek help. Call out the boys who are being inappropriate. Don’t let people who are toxic try to tell you how to be a man. Educate yourselves on women’s issues. It’s not an embarrassing thing to do. Again doesn’t mean you have to stick your head into women only groups and constantly express your opinion or something, of course not. It’s just for your own good and your own self improvement
