Salam bothers and sisters!
Congratulations on Arafa's day! Tomorrow Monday is one of the holiest days in the year, a lot of the Hadiths mention its grace on the world, so here's a little guidance helping you on what to do during it!
- Pray Fajr in the mosque if possible. Normally, praying in the mosque is a must for men and preferable for women whenever possible, but on Arafa it's greatly important for you to get the most out of this blessed day.
- Do fasting! According to the messenger Muhammad (PBUH), fasting on this day will wipe out all your sins during the last year, and the next one. Make sure not to miss this opportunity!
- Say Athkars, they're in some places better than fighting our enemies, according to the prophet peace be upon him!
- Read whatever you can afford from the Quran, nothing is better than Almighty Allah talking to you.
- "Allah is the Greatest (Allahu Akbar)". Takbeers are the most noticeable deeds during Arafat and the overall Hajj time, say it a lot!
- Until Duhur (afternoon), try to remember what bad habits you have, or bad things you do that you don't want people to see you doing them. Remember that Almighty Allah is greater than all of them and he's always looking at you. Consider starting to repent.
- Try giving charity, even a smile in front of other Muslims is considered one. It's free, so do it more often :)
- Do a lot of Isteghfar, a lot of Dua (or prayers), stay close to Almighty Allah.
- After Maghreb (sunset) or Iftar, pray to Almighty Allah to accept your deeds, and to bless you with the sincerity of intentions.
- Repeat Takbeers, a lot. Enjoy being Muslim.
May Allah bless all of us Muslim nation :)
