AOA, There is another issue I wanted to clarify. It is about full figure robots. We know that building statues are haram. And we know that building humanoid or animal robots are haram because that is imitating the creation of Allah and so these robots will come under statues aswell. E.g Sophia the Human Robot in Saudi Arabia.
Someone asked Sheikh Assim al Hakeem about the Sophia Robot and he just simply said 'This is a statue and this is prohibited'. He didn't say that this was a robot which resembled a human so thats why its prohibited. Another person asked Assim al Hakeem on twitter about building a robot which didn't have a head and He replied 'This seems permissible as it doesn't have a head'. Scholars have also agreed that if a drawing doesn't have a head, it isn't an image and so doesn't come under the prohibited form of image making. (FYI, I am not a big fan of Assim al Hakeem, but that's another story)
Ibn Uthaymeen (May Allah have Mercy on him) said that if an image is lacking something without which it cannot live, by that he meant the facial features, like eyes or mouth or nose, then that is an incomplete image and so it is not prohibited. Again, Assim al Hakeem was again asked a question about a picture of a logo of Puma, and he said that the facial features of the Panther in the Puma logo aren't clear, so it won't be prohibited to wear a shirt of Puma. By this, we can establish that if the facial features aren't clear on an image, that image will be permissible InshAllah.
Tbh, I don't really see how a robot is a statue. A robot is just a machine. A statue, which is prohibited, can't move. The statue is there to be venerated, honored and respected and sometimes, worshipped. It can't do anything. A robot can move, do things and even talk. But won't that be mimicking life? Won't that be haram? I am a bit confused on whether it will come under a statue. Yes, a robot does have legs, hands, a body, but even then, drawing a picture of body parts only or making them isn't haram.

Another thing, if building these robots is halal, will it be halal to draw a picture of these robots?
