This is not supposed to be a cryptic riddle. I'm asking if there's a consensus for: at what point does changing the Quran make it no longer the Quran? If I printed a Quran, but changed/removed one word, is it no longer "the Quran" that we have to treat specially? If it's just any book, then I have my answer. If it's still the Quran, how many changes/removals/additions do I have to make before it's no longer the Quran, and the book no longer deserves special treatment? It has to stop being the Quran at some point, because there are countless books that quote the Quran, but we don't have to treat like the Quran.
