The hanafi view says that there is four fard of sunnah: washing of the face, then hands up to and including the elbows, then putting wet hands through your hair (مسح), then washing your feet up to the ankle. (All once). Can someone elaborate on the washing of the face? Is the rinsing of the mouth and nose obligatory for the hanafi view? I’ve done fard wudu before without rinsing the mouth and nose. Also, if it is fard, is the fard also once for both of them?
