Assalamualaikum, my fellow Muslims please realize that Eid lasts for 3 days. Do not stop celebrating. We have 2 holidays in Islam and it’s sad to see we do not celebrate it as much - never mind celebrating even in the first day!

*Celebrating the first day past the few hours after Eid prayer

Can’t believe as a kid I used to forgo Eid prayers some years just to attend school - for what? Just to sit in class like any other day for information that I can catch up on in like 1 hour? Boo hoo I missed one day of school

Also my fellow college students in the US, check if your school has a religious holiday exemption/absense excuse
