Aoa my Muslim brothers and sisters, and I wish you all a very happy Ramadan.
I wish to begin reading and finish the Qur'an this Ramadan, Insha'Allah. My only issue is, I do not know Arabic. I can read it slightly, but I do not understand a word of it.
My question was, would it be permissible of me to listen to the Qur'an while I read the translation with it, so I may hear what is being said, and understand it as well? Would this be a proper way of reading the Qur'an, and would I get the same reward of finishing it as I would if I read it in Arabic?
