According to Hadith the person who drinks alcohol will not have his prayers accepted for 40 days.
Today I stupidly tried to do two things at once and accidentally swallowed a tiny amount of Listerine which as alcohol in it. I thought the alcohol in mouthwash was different but I guess not.
I know I shouldn’t despair in the mercy of Allah. Just want to know if anyone has a reference on this from somewhere to ease my heart.
