Good morning! I figured I would come to the experts with my question. I have an amateur scholarly interest in lore, religion, mythology, and books. I have a copy of the Quran arriving shortly, and I'm quite excited to do a little light reading. I've heard some of the passages are quite beautiful and almost poetic, or actual poetry.
I've been around the subreddit for a while as a lurker, and the other big two as well, to stay informed on the events and the news my brothers and sisters of the world are experiencing.
So I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction as where to start in the Quran for an agnostic. I've familiarized myself with the Pillars of Islam, and I've googled most of the terms as I see them pop up on the subreddit, so I'm familiar with those as well.
As a final thought, if I offend anyone I do apologize it's not my intent. I hope that the upcoming Ramadan is a pleasant and spiritually filled one for you and that it brings you many blessings, and thank you for your time.
