5 of the strangest arguments Christians use to point mistakes regarding their "monotheistic" doctrine in the Qur'an and hence drive others away from Islam , so I wanted to clear these misconceptions in one shot , let's see their evidence:

- Trinity is three Gods
يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لَا تَغْلُوا فِي دِينِكُمْ وَلَا تَقُولُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ إِلَّا الْحَقَّ ۚ إِنَّمَا الْمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَكَلِمَتُهُ أَلْقَاهَا إِلَىٰ مَرْيَمَ وَرُوحٌ مِّنْهُ ۖ فَآمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ ۖ وَلَا تَقُولُوا ثَلَاثَةٌ ۚ انتَهُوا خَيْرًا لَّكُمْ ۚ إِنَّمَا اللَّهُ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ ۖ سُبْحَانَهُ أَن يَكُونَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ ۘ لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكِيلًا
( 4/171 ) O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.

لَّقَدْ كَفَرَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ ثَالِثُ ثَلَاثَةٍ ۘ وَمَا مِنْ إِلَٰهٍ إِلَّا إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ ۚ وَإِن لَّمْ يَنتَهُوا عَمَّا يَقُولُونَ لَيَمَسَّنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
( 5/73 ) They have certainly disbelieved who say, "Allah is the third of three." And there is no god except one God. And if they do not desist from what they are saying, there will surely afflict the disbelievers among them a painful punishment.
The objection point is Christians believe the Qur'an got it wrong since they don't believe in three gods , but one god formulated by (May Allah forgive us) the trinity.
The problem they don't realize is the Qur'an was NOT given to Muhammad to confirm their creed , but to deny what mutilated the religion of Prophet Abraham , the Islamic Hanif religion.
Christians know that Abraham didn't believe in trinity , and the Qur'an confirmed he was not a Christian or a Jew , since he is the father of the Abrahamic religions and their prophets , when the Qur'an says that trinity is actually three gods , then it's pointing at trinity's polytheism from Abraham's religion perspective , not just the monotheism to Allah in Islam , even the Jews believe in One God without trinity!
The Qur'an also makes a solid objection to the trinity's mask of monotheism by DENYING it's core meaning entirely , how does 1 = 3 by pure logic? ....... Only the wise know , and the Qur'an will NEVER approve the trinity for the Christians even if they believe it misunderstood their religion while they actually didn't understand the Qur'anic denial.

- Mary as part of the Trinity
وَإِذْ قَالَ اللَّهُ يَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ أَأَنتَ قُلْتَ لِلنَّاسِ اتَّخِذُونِي وَأُمِّيَ إِلَٰهَيْنِ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ ۖ قَالَ سُبْحَانَكَ مَا يَكُونُ لِي أَنْ أَقُولَ مَا لَيْسَ لِي بِحَقٍّ ۚ إِن كُنتُ قُلْتُهُ فَقَدْ عَلِمْتَهُ ۚ تَعْلَمُ مَا فِي نَفْسِي وَلَا أَعْلَمُ مَا فِي نَفْسِكَ ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوبِ
( 5/116 ) And [beware the Day] when Allah will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, 'Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah?'" He will say, "Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen.
Why Mary is part of the trinity when there's no mention of the trinity in the verse?
Because of the word "deities" , hence their mind jumped to trinity claiming that the Qur'an was written by someone not knowledgeable in Christian doctrine , while the truth is this is a confusion from mixing Christian traditions with misunderstanding of the Islamic/Abrahamic/monotheistic teachings.
In this verse , Allah is not talking about trinity , since Allah often links Mary with Jesus to confirm the birth miracle , but He declares in front of humanity that Christians associated not only Jesus but also Mary to make Jesus a witness on their doing , so Allah takes a new angle on Christians , which is association with Him!
In Islam , association/shirk is not just praying to a stone or a wooden cross , that is what makes problems for Christians understanding the verse above , association in Islam has many forms that ALL fall under breaking the monotheistic law in the first Surah:
إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ
( 1/5 ) It is You we worship and You we ask for help.
Allah confirms the smallest shirk is the worst enemy to a believer in Hadeeth Qudusi: Sunnah
Allah confirms that Christians associated their monks , bishops and Jesus as lords: Qur'an
Prophet Muhammad explained what lords/associates mean in that verse: Sunnah
Prophet Muhammad mentioned Christians/Jews associated the dead saints: Sunnah
Here's the association (worship) to Mary Allah was talking about: Christian devotion to Mary

- Son of God means that God had a wife
بَدِيعُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لَهُ وَلَدٌ وَلَمْ تَكُن لَّهُ صَاحِبَةٌ ۖ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ ۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
( 6/101 ) [He is] Originator of the heavens and the earth. How could He have a son when He does not have a companion and He created all things? And He is, of all things, Knowing.
Strangely , Christians who argue with that verse claim that Jesus is a son without god having a wife , thinking that Islam teaches Muslims that Allah is a human like His creation , may Allah forgive their ignorance.
They didn't notice that Allah in that verse is confirming and refuting two parts in Christian doctrine by logic , the Virgin Mary and son of god , pointing the verse to them to make it clear that nothing happens without a cause!
That way , Christians can't claim a son to god without proving first that Allah had a wife , add to that Allah confirmed He doesn't beget nor were born , nor He is like any of His creation , which means the doctrine is totally false if they claimed Jesus is a son to Him without a clear reason for it to happen.
Add the 1 = 3 dilemma , according to Christianity the son form was born while the father form had a son without any mother in the process , but if son and father are one then Mary is god's mother !!
Anyone with some awareness knows this is a total imitation from ancient polytheistic religions which also had trinities millenniums before Christianity , this is impossible to be the religion all the Prophets from Adam to Muhammad called for , a God who has no partners , the true Abrahamic faith:
قَالُوا اتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ وَلَدًا ۗ سُبْحَانَهُ ۖ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ ۖ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ إِنْ عِندَكُم مِّن سُلْطَانٍ بِهَٰذَا ۚ أَتَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
( 10/68 ) They have said, "Allah has taken a son." Exalted is He; He is the [one] Free of need. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. You have no authority for this [claim]. Do you say about Allah that which you do not know?

- Mary the sister of Aaron
فَأَتَتْ بِهِ قَوْمَهَا تَحْمِلُهُ ۖ قَالُوا يَا مَرْيَمُ لَقَدْ جِئْتِ شَيْئًا فَرِيًّا
يَا أُخْتَ هَارُونَ مَا كَانَ أَبُوكِ امْرَأَ سَوْءٍ وَمَا كَانَتْ أُمُّكِ بَغِيًّا
( 19/27 ) Then she brought him to her people, carrying him. They said, "O Mary, you have certainly done a thing unprecedented.
( 19/28 ) O sister of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste."
The objection is that Mary can't be a sister to Prophet Aaron who lived before her with 14 centuries , I wonder why people like to always stick the weirdest interpretation they can find!
The misunderstanding is cleared by Prophet Muhammad when he mentioned that Aaron the speaker talking about is actually a pious man who lived at Mary's time , not Prophet Moses brother: Sunnah
As for sister , it is common between middle-easterners to show bonds of respect between one another metaphorically in a sense of brotherhood , a totally accepted habit.

- Jews believe Ezra is son of god
وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ عُزَيْرٌ ابْنُ اللَّهِ وَقَالَتِ النَّصَارَى الْمَسِيحُ ابْنُ اللَّهِ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ قَوْلُهُم بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ ۖ يُضَاهِئُونَ قَوْلَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِن قَبْلُ ۚ قَاتَلَهُمُ اللَّهُ ۚ أَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ
( 9/30 ) The Jews say, "Ezra is the son of Allah "; and the Christians say, "The Messiah is the son of Allah." That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved [before them]. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?
Finally , their favourite pick , a contradiction in Qur'an with Jewish beliefs that Ezra is a son , let's break that claim wide open.
Allah will never give an input without use , in the verse Allah says "statement from their mouths" and NOT "in their scripture" , which means the Jews said that before Muhammad's time , but they didn't record in the Scripture that god has a son , and centuries passed till the point they forgot who even Ezra is: Youtube
In the same video , after successfully reminding the guests with Ezra from the Tanakh , the 3rd Jew jumped from his stealth to instead of denying the Qur'an , he mistakenly proved verse [ 5:18 ] by saying "we are all god's children....": Youtube
Surat Al-Tabawh (Chapter 9) was also revealed in Madinah among the Arab Jews 1400 years ago , and none of them came to Muhammad to deny that he mistook them for deifying Ezra , they actually accepted it by the proof that many of them embraced Islam and it only required a single Jew to accuse Muhammad of lying about it!
This verse is not their only slip-by-tongue in the Qur'an , Allah cursed Jews for "saying" He is poor and they are rich: Qur'an
Allah also cursed Jews for "saying" He can't bless them: Qur'an
Of course , no one will find these gems in their scripture , only a God can reveal something like that to destroy their pride , and don't get us started on what they have done with Moses and their prophets.

Conclusion: Islam didn't emerge to confirm Christians in trinity or blab about a falsehood doctrine , Islam came to fulfill the prophecies of the Awaited Prophet (and the Kingdom of God) in the Scripture , clear Abraham's religion from polytheism among Arabia and Christians , not for Allah's will alone , but also by Prophet Abraham's request , the father of Moses , Jesus and Muhammad , peace on them all:
وَإِذْ يَرْفَعُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ الْقَوَاعِدَ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
رَبَّنَا وَاجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِنَا أُمَّةً مُّسْلِمَةً لَّكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ
رَبَّنَا وَابْعَثْ فِيهِمْ رَسُولًا مِّنْهُمْ يَتْلُو عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِكَ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
( 2/127 ) And [mention] when Abraham was raising the foundations of the House and [with him] Ishmael, [saying], "Our Lord, accept [this] from us. Indeed You are the Hearing, the Knowing.
( 2/128 ) Our Lord, and make us Muslims [in submission] to You and from our descendants a Muslim nation [in submission] to You. And show us our rites and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.
( 2/129 ) Our Lord, and send among them a messenger from themselves who will recite to them Your verses and teach them the Book and wisdom and purify them. Indeed, You are the Exalted in Might, the Wise."
