Let me start off by saying I’m not here to convey a fatwa or chastise anyone but I simply have one question to those who say a day like this is HARAM.
It seems we’ve come to a point now that everything the west celebrates has the same fatwa applied to it, a one fatwa fits all strategy if you will. Xmas and Easter etc I can understand it’s pretty straight forward however claiming Mother’s Day to be haram is something I can’t get my head around
haram is committing an act punishable by Allah therefore If I choose to show my mother love and appreciation on this day this is punishable?
I’m simply asking .... feel free to educate me.
