Hi all! I appreciate that this may appear to be a bit of a silly question, but I was wondering if Kosher food is Halal?
I understand that Ramadam is approaching and I've some Muslim neighbours in a predominantly white neighbourhood; as a Jew, I thought it may be a kind gesture to leave a food package for their Iftar one night, but I'm not sure on the best places to go for Halal food in my area.
With that said, I AM able to order Kosher food from my local synagogue and, whilst I realise alcohol isn't Halal, I was wondering would Kosher food be permissible to a practicing Muslim?
