New to Islam and wanted to know about this religion.
Not judgemental. Genuinely wanting to know if it was due to some specific history or scripture.
Discrimination against women that I know of 1. Even the highly developed dubai gave driving license to women only a few years ago. 2. There is "triple talak" rule that is valid in many countries. 3. Men could have more than one wife, but women cannot have more than one husband.
Why is there a discrimination against the gender? 1. Why can't daughters get the same share of the parents property. 2. Why is a women's word In court measured only as half of a men's word.
"And most importantly, why is homosexuality illegal?"
Genuinely wanting to know these answers.
