I just watched a documentary titled, "Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind: Contact Has Begun" and would like to hear the opinions of fellow Muslims on the movie. It's available to rent on Amazon.
The documentary goes into how we as humans are consciously connected with each other and our universe. This ties into how humans can communicate with Extraterrestrial, or aliens, using our minds through deep meditation. Dr. Steven Greer takes groups of people into remote locations where he communicate with beings who make themselves known. This is all caught on camera and presented very well.
To those who may have seen the movie, what do you think?
To those who haven't seen the movie, what does this mean in terms of Islam? Is this some form of haram behavior or witchcraft? Is this conscious connection discussed in Islam?
The way I interpreted it was that this is present in Islam through prayer. The way we pray together allows us to consciously come together in unison to pray to Allah.
