This came about from a conversation I was having regarding Western Muslims specifically, since I couldn't really answer this myself.
The initial creation of Islam was based on the idea that Christianity and Judaism were both corrupted and being followed improperly, that Jews and Christians were not sticking to the original teachings etc.
The issue here being, that with online interviews and discussions involving Western Muslims, it seems like whenever they come to explain their beliefs, they list out the teachings of Christianity, loving others, self respect, etc.
I really want to know your thoughts and beliefs about what really separates the two in terms of daily life and moral standards.
