As Salam Alaikum,
I have a question with regard to a girls name "Iqra". I am planning to give my baby daugther this name In Sha' Allah due to its significance (first revealation) and meaning. It seems to be a hugely popular name in Pakistan followed by rest of the Asia (India, Indonesia, Malaysia etc.) but I haven't come across any middle eastern or an arab with this name.
My question is that if this is a valid Arabic name?
