I have to make some graphics for work, and as we have a lot of different backgrounds in our organisation we like to acknowledge everyone's cultural and religious holidays. I'm not very familiar with Islam, so I would just like some opinions to make sure I'm doing this properly.
What would be the proper greeting for Ramadan, would it be Ramadan Mubarak or Ramadan Kareem? I've found different sources that say different things so I'd just like an opinion.
What symbols would you associate with Ramadan? Many images I've seen use lanterns and stars.
Also, for the star and crescent symbol to represent Islam, is there any specific colour it should be? I've seen it mostly in white but sometimes in gold.
