Ive recently been told they’re haram and am curious why.
Growing up til even now ive heard stories of young people dying with “no medical reason”. Even fit/healthy brothers/sisters. An autopsy would confirm a cause of death unless its already decomposed 99% of the time.
Not sure if there would be specific scripture denouncing this but its uses are vast. For example a disease that’s carried down hereditarily, but that goes undiagnosed even post mortem so the surviving family has no way to know to get preventative treatment or even testing.
Appreciate any responses because this has been a question since childhood for me, thanks!
