Like with the pandemic going on, are you still going since places of worship are open?
Despite the pandemic, Texas has been open for business for the past few months. No lockdowns or mask mandates I believe (people do wear masks though)
Of course, the advice is to stay at home but really no one is following that. I haven’t been to Jummah in MONTHS, so am I sinning by not going?
I do go outside but very rarely. I go outside a lot for food delivery when the delivery driver is near my home. I went to the stores a handful of times in the past couple or so months.
Am I sinning by not going to Jummah? Should I do? The mosque is literally a 5 minute walk and my dad goes - though he doesn’t really take serious the pandemic other than wearing a masks. Just a couple of days ago he was talking in anger about vaccines and barcodes and Bill Gates (I was surprised as well at my dad believing this conspiracy).
