I just had a quick question about rifle hunting I wasn't able to find online.
I'm aware rifle hunting is halal, though what if your initial shot doesn't instantly kill the animal, and there is no qualified, or experienced butcher among your party? I've read a few threads from various forums mentioning if the animal does not instantly die upon the first shot/arrow/whatever then someone must perform the zahiba, so what happens on the occasion that there is no experienced nor qualified butcher among the hunting party, or if you hunt with a non Muslim group who don't do zahiba, what should one do?
