I know it is against the religion to do something good and hoping someone else notices it and thinks highly of you, fearing that it would make us arrogance or even Riya. What about making Allah's proud of our deeds? Is this kind of thinking allowed in our religion?
the use of the word "proud" here might be unsuitable. I just can't find the right word at the moment.
