I've been seeing a lot of anti-Islam sentiments in France especially lately, i.e. the Charlie Hebdo offensive cartoons projected on government buildings (so unnecessary, childish and obviously to spread hate), France looking to shut down 76 mosques calling them "breeding grounds of terrorism" and Macron saying that anti-Zionism (aka not supporting apartheid) is anti-semitism, banning the burka, hijab and modest swimsuits and probably so many other things I don't know about. Not to mention several celebrities making offensive remarks against Islam and receiving no criticism or backlash which they would've gotten had it been any other religion.
If there are any French Muslims on the sub, I was wondering how you can possibly live in such a hateful and toxic environment... If I were in your place I imagine it would be hard to even breathe without getting criticized for existing.
