I’ve heard through some online lectures from scholars and comments online that Muslims should follow the advice of people such as scientists and experts on something like the virus, and when the government recommends things like mask wearing and social distancing we should follow. I agree with this mentality but just curious what verses and hadiths reference things like this. I know there is a surah in the Quran for example that is titled Shoora (consultation).
