I know about combining and shortening the prayer while traveling. You can pray Maghrib and Isha both at the time of Isha if say you are traveling during the time Maghrib is valid since that is usually a short window.
But what if you are traveling back home. You start traveling during Asr and still in the car during Maghrib and you won’t get home until Maghrib is done. I know you can’t shorten maghrib and Isha once home but is it penalized for missing Maghrib since you were traveling home or should I make a stop during Maghrib time and try to pray?
