Hello! I’m currently in the process of writing a history research paper on Muhammad bin Abd al Wahhab and the origins of what is now popularly known as Wahhabism. Im a non Muslim and was hoping to find some insight on this sub. My goal is to be as un-opinionated as possible and focus on the history. I would really appreciate any suggestions of possible scholars from the early modern period that could be helpful resources on the topic. I understand that this particular branch is rather controversial and not representative of most Muslims, but any and all insight would be greatly appreciated.
