Hi there. Personally I'm not a Muslim, but I went here to get some help and advice. Last night on the phone, my grandmother told me all about why she hates Muslims, and it absolutely broke my heart. When I tried to explain things about Islam to her, she just told me that I was hearing things in "a too secular perspective" and all about why she thinks Islam is wrong. I told her that Islam is actually very similar to Christianity, and that Muslims also worship God/Allah, and that they also believe in kindness and peace, like most other religions. But she shot that down, and said that Muslims are "evil."
Does anyone have any advice on how I could make her more open-minded, and get her to understand what Islam is really about? I don't want her to be confused, and I want her to respect other people. Thanks in advance.
