I don't want to bribe my prospect to give me his business because that's haram. The account is huge and a person in that company has become a friend because I keep meeting him to ask if we can work together. We talk on whatsapp sometimes and one day he asked me for recommendations on wireless headphones. I found a good one and sent him the details on where he can buy it. But I was thinking of getting it for him because he has helped out our family business. He hasn't purchased anything from me but I introduced him to my cousins company and he is buying a lot of stuff from them. My cousin thanks me a lot for introducing and I just want to give those headphones to this guy. But I'm afraid that if he starts giving me business (which is quite big revenue) after I gave him some dirt cheap headphones it will become a bribe as I got something in return of giving him something extra. I want to earn his business the halal way. Any advice from my brothers and sister is welcome. Specially if someone is from sales background and can guide me on haram things to stay away from in sales.
