Salam everyone,
I'm hoping someone knowledgeable can answer my question or give me advice regarding this matter. I had a dream of being in a downtown office meeting during the day and while the meeting was going on I saw the Angel of Death (depicted exactly like the grim reaper a black flowing cape and a scythe) who was flying in the sky about to enter a nearby building. But I could see it clearly out the window of where I was seated during the meeting.
If it were a nightmare I already know to not speak of it, seek refuge from Allah, and pray 2 rakah. I've been searching online for an answer but all links posted are from people who had a nightmare. The reason I'm concerned is that nothing in the dream was frightening at all it was a very peaceful albeit mundane lucid dream (aside from seeing the Angel of Death). I have never seen the Angel of Death in my 30+ years of being on earth in a dream. For most dreams including nightmares I would normally just go about my day and forget about what occurred.
It's not in my nature to post or share anything online but I have to admit I can't shake the feeling of wanting to know what it meant since I felt at peace and not scared in the dream. Can someone knowledgeable let me know if it means that my time is up and I will soon die or if it's simply a reminder to return to Allah (I have not been praying lately, reading quran, etc). I would greatly appreciate it if someone here could let me know how to proceed or process this information.
