Good day,
I am a not a Muslim, but I'm trying to understand Islam better in a certain way. I would like to ask a question if that is alright. I would like to understand Islam's relationship with Judaism. It is easy to understand the relationship between Christianity. I know that Muslims do not believe that Jesus was God, and so it may be dismissed. But in regards to Judaism, Islam accepts Abraham along with other prophets of the Tanahk. It seems to me that Muslims and Jews would have a lot to relate to.
Is the split between the two just the matter of if Mohammad was a prophet of God, or are there other differences that are significant?
I appreciate anyone willing to discuss this with me.
