So for all the practitioners or islam can y’all tell me about your religion

I keep seeing people classifying it as a religion of hate, violence, and oppression of women and stuff like that. I don’t really buy into that kinda stuff and I’ve done some research (nit much given the fact that I’m busy on life rn) and I’m getting mixed answers. I’d like to actually hear from people who actually practice it as their faith.
