Hello brothers and sisters.
I had a question about what the Qur’an says about disbelievers.
In 8:55, it quotes:
“Indeed, the worst of living creatures in the sight of Allah are those who have disbelieved, and they will not [ever] believe -“
Is there any context to this? Other translations call disbelievers “vile” and other words. Shouldn’t we respect anyone, even if their beliefs are different from ours?
I feel like Surah Al-Anfal is filled with quotes that make me a bit uncomfortable and I personally might be reading out of context.
