Too often I come across folks saying how unfair God swt is. How can decent nonbelievers end up in hell, while sinners who believe will eventually go to heaven. This post is about 3-4 short paragraphs only.
Even though an intelligent person, let's call her Toni, lived a sincere life, dedicating time to serve humanity and animals... If she didn't believe in the Shahadah, why should she have to spend eternity in hell! Didn't all Toni's good deeds account for anything?
So, imagine that same woman, Toni, lived that same life dedicated to make the world a better place. At the age of 73 she is wrongfully accused of murdering 17 people. All the evidence points to her so the police make the arrest and bring her in front of the judge. Toni knows she is innocent. She has never hurt anyone in her 73 years. Also, has a solid alibi in the judge's wife, who is ready to swear that Toni did not commit the murders she is accused of. Toni is confident she will be declared innocent.
The judge asks, "Do you plead guilty or not guilty?" Toni answers, "Forget it judge, I DON'T RECOGNIZE YOUR AUTHORITY!"
Judge says, "Ms. Toni, I'm trying to help you. If you don't enter a plea of Guilty or not Guilty, I will have to send you to jail!"
She says, "I DON'T BELIEVE THERE IS ANYTHING SUCH AS A JAIL! You cannot do anything to me."
Her lawyer explains to Toni, that all she has to do is say the words "Not Guilty" and he will take care of everything else and make sure the court declares her innocent. Toni tells him the same thing, that she doesn't believe the judge had any authority and the court is a joke.
The arguments go back and forth between the judge and Toni, but she doesn't change her mind.
Finally, frustrated the judge says, "I have no choice. Ms. Toni, you are in contempt of this court. You are going to jail." BANG! The gavel drops. Bailiff takes her to jail.
The point of my story is, no matter how nice the woman is;

just because Toni (a disbeliever) doesn't believe in the Court (Shahadah) / judge's (Allah swt) authority, DOES NOT MEAN SHE WILL NOT SPEND THE REST OF HER LIFE IN JAIL (Hell)

Just because there are other folks in the community who also don't recognize the court/judge, DOES NOT MEAN TONI WILL NOT SPEND THE REST OF HER LIFE IN JAIL.

Just because, Toni did not educate herself about the justice system and didn't take the suggestions/warnings of her lawyer (messengers as) DIES NOT MEAN TONI WILL NOT SPEND THE REST OF HER LIFE IN JAIL.

Just because the judge is following the written law, DOES NOT MEAN HE IS UNFAIR.
So what do y'all think, can this analogy help people understand this aspect of why non-believers can still end up in jail/hell?
