God plants the seed, the Shahada waters it, and imaan takes its time to grow, producing the fruit of good deeds in time.
This process doesn't happen overnight. And many relapse and come back. This is what repentance is for. The struggle is highest for those who are born outside of Islam, especially today when surrounded by the global culture against islam.
So help them. Give them time. Be patient with your brother and sister. Do not be the reason why someone loses their imaan because you decided to throw dirt on the plant instead of water.
