Salaam brothers and sisters, my name is Aqib and I'm a 21 year old based in Scotland. I'm a Muslim and growing up in a somewhat western muslim household, I learned that Islam is a beautiful religion.
However growing up I missed a lot of opportunities of the basics such as praying and I really want to learn how to do all of this to build a deeper connection to our creator InshAllah.
The last few years have been very rough for me and my family, I lost my sister aged 25 who was my only sibling and its really sparked something in me that wants to get closer and develop a better understanding of the besutiful religion that we are all apart of.
I'm not the best muslim out there but I really want to make myself better and make more of an effort, I have recently changed my circles and I am surrounded by much better people than before, people that are fairly close to islam, and one of my brothers has started taking me to Friday Jumma prayers. Buf I only know the actions and barely any of the prayers and I am too ashamed to really admit it or ask for help
I am looking for someone to help me with this and guide me inshallah, I really need to correct my path and gain pace from the crazy life that we all live, and get closer to Allah inshallah.
