Hello. I am not Muslim, but I am curious.
If the Kaaba was truly built by Abraham as you say, and it was holy to the Jews, then how and why did they forget about it? If a pilgrimage to Mecca is one of the 5 Pillars in Islam, then why is the Kaaba not mentioned in any Jewish or Christian text? Shouldn’t there have been Jewish tribes constantly protecting the Kaaba? How was it overtaken by the Polytheists? Who Altered Jewish holy texts to Erase all mentions of the Kaaba, and why?
I am not trying to discredit Islam here, but I am genuinely curious.
