Assalam alaaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakathu.

So basically, this year at my university, I am the interfaith director for my Muslim Student Association and my goal is to bring all the Abrahamic religions together. I will be working with the Christian Catholic club and the Hillel at my uni.

Usually, we did events to cook and donate food for low income families. However, due to the pandemic, this will not be feasible, and I'm thinking about other events we could do. I wanted to be more creative and do events which help our communities and also other fun social events where we can love and appreciate each other and learn about other's religions.

I'm thinking of doing movie nights. Possibly on campus if our uni allows it or through zoom. I want to choose a movie that will not start any hate at all. I want to avoid any chance for hate to begin. I want to choose a movie that allows for positive discussions. Absolutely no hate.

If anyone can recommend movies (could be about any of the Abrahamic religions), I'd really appreciate it.

I've also had ideas for other events. One of them was to organize a panel, consisting of a Rabbi, a Priest, and an Imam. The audience can ask questions about our religions that all three would answer, and we can love each other more through appreciating similarities and differences. And example of a question would be: what are some misconceptions about your religion? The Rabbi, Priest, and Imam will have time to answer the question about their religion. Any thoughts on this event?

Also any ideas for other events I could organize will be appreciated too.

I look forward to your answers and ideas. I hope to be one step closer to bringing harmony between the Abrahamic religions.

Peace ✌
