Asalam walaykum, I was wondering what the reason was for naqshbandis using weak hadeeth. I was reading the introduction the biography of the prophet pbuh written by hajja haqqani and I'd heard things about the prophets pbuh's creation I hadnt heard before.
A quick google search says that the hadeeth are weak, but the authors are both scholars in their own right, surely they would know the chain of transmission was weak but they believe in them? My best guess is they seem true to the intellect of the author on the basis of what they know of ilm and spiritual knowledge.
I was wondering if anyone else had some knowledge about this.
