I swore to Allah that if I committed a certain sin, then I would pray 12 rakat, and each time I've committed it since, I've honored the oath, but I find myself rushing through rakat, so I want to reduce the number of rakat. Since I have honored the oath at least once and I didn't specify a time frame, would it be breaking the oath to lower the amount? Or is there any way to take the oath back while I haven't broken it? Do I just have to suck it up?
