Is it permissible to use anaethethics on animal before slaughthering it? Wouldn't that be encouraged even?
After my experiences helping around during eid ul-adha these past few years I've witnessed actions that are not very islamic from my fellow peers.
I understand that slaughtering a large animal like cows recquire more force. But i have seen people treating their animals in cruel ways.
Example: stepping on a cows neck appying pressure on its windpipe, poking the cow with a knife to force it to lay down, acting aggresively causing the cow to be in a state of panic in its last few minutes.
Im disgusted by this behaviour from muslims, and i hope we can do better.
