Muḥammad is no more than a messenger; other messengers have gone before him. If he were to die or to be killed, would you regress into disbelief? Those who do so will not harm Allah whatsoever. And Allah will reward those who are grateful.
I was preparing a presentation about Mus'ab Ibn Umair, and his story never fails to make me shed a tear.

From wealth and opulence, to the epitome of asceticism; he only desired one thing after Islam: The love of Allah and the Prophet Muhamad Peace and Blessings be Upon him.
In the battle, as he was being attacked, it was noted that he recited the first part of this verse "Muḥammad is no more than a messenger; other messengers have gone before him." He fell to his knees, reciting the Qur'an with conviction I ask Allah to replicate in me.
