when either a christian or jewish (r/christianity, r/catholicism, r/judaism) subreddit is asked about evolution, specifically if adam and eve came from ape-like creatures , they'll go against their own scriptures and try their best to fit evolution in their beliefs. they'll believe that adam and eve had ape-like parents, even though their scriptures are clear that they didn't have parents. you'll notice they'll be attempts to appeal to both their religion and "science" , which seems quite inconsistent

when it comes to r/islam and the evolution question, you'll notice more comments saying that us muslims don't believe in darwinian evolution, you'll notice that we don't believe adam (as) and hawah (as) had parents, that the mainstream dogma of evolution doesn't add up. you'll even notice comments that say adam (as) and hawah (as) is, according to u/d4m45t4,

a special case. it's a miracle the same way jesus' (as) birth was a miracle.

i think this is good because it shows us muslims, generally, won't compromise islam.

as according to u/raheelxmd in one of the topics about evolution

qur'an clearly states Allah created humans in their form as they are, no evolution etc. we don't reconcile. we take Allah's word for it. we believe He is the creator so He does as He pleases.

it's good that we show consistency and prioritise islam. when one shows inconsistency and tries to hard to juggle religious belief with western dogma, you'll notice they'll end up straying away from their religion

may Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) guide us so we don't go astray
