First of all, I’m sorry for my ignorance, I am new to this. I’m a Christian living in America who would like to convert, and learn how to live as a Muslim, but I have a couple questions. I know being fluent in Arabic is not necessary, but what approach should I take to the Quran? When I pray I must do it in Arabic right? Should I just memorize what I should know and what it means, or try to cultivate a base level understanding of Arabic vocabulary and grammar. Also, and I may be wrong about this, but it’s ok to read the Quran for understanding in English right? Again, sorry for my ignorance, I wish to learn.
