Im a man in my twenties from Europe.
I agree with all things in islam.
I dont eat pork, and its 100% from my experience that i noticed how wrong and unhealthy it is.
I didnt drink alcohol for many years, even though i used to drink everyday at times.
I even understand that music can be bad and distractive, even though i love music.
And many other positive things i see in islam.
But one thing i cant wrap my head around is that somehow i must go to the beach wearing a t-shirt.
I shave my body to go to the beach. Its more confortable, feels better, and allows more sunlight to hit your body, so you absorb more vitamin d, and yes it looks better (not important).
So i saw muslims wearing t-shirt in the beach while it was very very hot. They were sweating and completely miserable.
I cant do that. I love the beach, i love being there in direct contact with water and the sun. Its part of my health and wellbeing. And it wouldnt make any sense to me to go to the beach in a tshirt. I would rather stay at home. Sorry.
I understand seeing women almost naked gives us those thoughts. But isnt it up to us to manage ourselves, or not go to the beach if we cant handle ourselves? I mean i understand that in the city. But the beach is the beach.
Also maybe this might sound misogynistic, but i dont think women see us the same way we see them, in regards to physical beauty. They are less visual.
