How sad is it how the Muslim community has treated our converts.
How sad is it that some of us made Daud expose his sins publicly in a video that should have never been made, only for our own self-satisfaction.
How sad is it that whereas Allah has forgiven Daud for everything he has done before his Islam, some of us think we are above Allah in accounting for the mistakes of others.
How sad that converts are being turned away from the deen by the misguided actions of Muslims.
How sad is it that we fail to live up to the honour and responsibility held within the title of 'Muslim'.
How sad is it that we take non-Muslims as our teachers over Allah and His Messenger (SAW).
How sad is it that we are so harsh to each other whereas the Prophet of God (SAW) said: “The whole of the Muslim is sacred (inviolable) to his fellow Muslim, his blood, his wealth and his honor.” (Sunan Ibn Majah)
