Salam, Zaid Ibn Amir was one of four monotheists alive in Mecca shortly before the introduction of Islam. After watching the Yaqeen Inst. video by Omar, he talked about how Zaid would pray in prostration, would only eat meat cut in the name of Allah (not idols like the norm) would preach about Monotheism, and denounce all the meccans for not truly following the religion of Ibrahim AS. Which they thought they were ofc. This was very intriguing so I did some more research and it seems that Zaid was an avid poem writer. Now, it is clear that Zaid died before the revelations were sent down to the prophet PBUH but is it possible some of his ideologies could’ve crept their way into the Quran or influenced it in some way? As avid in his poems:

I submit myself to him to whom The earth which bears mighty rocks is subject. He spread it out and when He saw it was settled Upon the waters, He fixed the mountains on it. I submit myself to Him to whom clouds which bear Sweet water are subject When they are borne along to a land They obediently pour copious rain upon it.

(Alfred Guillaume, The Life of Muhammad [Oxford University Press, Karachi, tenth impression 1995], pp. 101, 102; italic emphasis ours)

Keep in mind Zaid is no prophet who received absolutely no revelation from Allah that we know of. He was simply a man with strong intuition, however the similarities are uncanny. Thanks.
