Hi. I've noticed that a lot of Muslims go online in order to argue back against atheists that say bad things or try to defame Islam. But I urge every Muslim to refrain from doing this. A lot of atheists are hypocrites and will criticize Muslims for doing the same acts as them. They write long posts where they hate on zealous Muslims who try to spread Islam. And then they turn around and start harassing random Muslims online and then call them extremist if they outsmart them.
They complain when ever a news media says that a Muslim did something good and then they say stuff like "hes just a human who did a good thing why is the media always trying to shove Islam down our throats." And then when the media reports a terrorist attack and the Muslims start arguing that this is just a bad person who happened to be Arab they say that Muslims are just trying to save face and that we sympathize with the attackers.
Arguing with an atheist is useless as these people often have nothing special about them in life except for the fact that they're atheists so they pride themselves on being atheist as it's their only trait. I can guarantee you that 99% of them have nothing going on in their lives. And by atheists in this post I dont mean all of them I'm referring to the vocal minority on the internet who harass people. Obviously this doesnt apply to 99% of all Atheists but it does apply to the ones who go around harassing people online.
They are mostly uninteresting, boring, and socially inept people who have an inferiority complex so they have the need to bring to others down. I can guarantee that someone who contributes to society and are important people dont have time to harass people online. Theres no use of arguing with them as they will drag you down to their toxic level and you will have gained nothing except for embarassing Islam by calling the atheists names and disobeying Allah.
I say disobeying Allah because Allah tells us not to harass unbelievers. And don't even think that you can try to convert them mo matter how smart you are because their hearts are so hardened that they would never accept our religion.
Now let's say that you somehow did manage to convert them to Islam. Do you think that they will be very good Muslims? They would just go back to their ways except now they're harassing atheists and making Muslims look bad. There is no winning situation.
Now if they state an incorrect fact or something then you can correct them but if they turn to names because you have outsmarted then just leave. Allah isnt hurt by what they say, they're only hurting themselves.
And if you're a muslim and do the same thing to atheists then please stop. There is no point in harassing them. I'm 16 and part of the younger generation of Islam and we need to stop complaining about the present and really work on ourselves. Were the generation that can make a change to the backwards Muslim countries and can change the face of Islam and the world. Don't waste your time on doing stuff that doesnt benefit you or anyone else.
And remember that god will ask you why you called these people bad names and made Muslims look bad by arguing with them. It's a sin to attack another person's faith.
I know that I'm guilty of this myself but I'm trying to change for the better.
