From what I can understand from online research, it's "mysticism in islam" which I don't really understand. What is modern islam's thoughts on sufism ? Do most muslims even know what it is? I'm genuinely interested in learning more about it. It appears to me a sort of deep philosophical way of thinking within islam and a specific type of madhab.
