In a hadith, the Prophet PBUH said:
"Suffice it to say, someone lies if he tells everything he hears"
Narrated by Muslim in Sahih Al Jami 4482
The hadith meant you are considered lying if you tell every single thing you heard while you don't know the truth behind that, even if you don't intend to lie.

Sure, it's hard to confirm whether a news about Uyghurs is wrong or right. One thing we can do is to filter it by looking at the source. If the source can be trusted (IMO an honest journalist or a survivor can be considered trusted), you can share it. If it's from social media, think twice before sharing, because many things there turn out to be hoax.
