Music is put everywhere and in everything, can I still view videos and sports on tv that includes a lot of music in the background?

I decided to give up music and voluntarily listening to hip-hop and other filthy music because first of all the idustry is dirty and the music it self is haram. But still music is everywhere, beats and melodies are put in everything on tv and on YouTube and I always watch harmless stuff that aren't supposed to be filthy in slightest. I try my best to mute it when I can but it's difficult, am I allowed to watch these things?
